Shopify SEO Services
About Shopify SEO Services
General SEO checklists miss the parts that are specific to how Shopify actually builds pages. This project optimizes your product and collection pages, fixes the Shopify-specific gaps those checklists skip, and sets up Search Console so you can see what's actually happening — a one-time project with a clear end point.
Who needs this
Stores with products that are live but barely surface in search, or ones that launched fast and never went back to fill in page titles, meta descriptions and alt text. It's built for getting the groundwork done properly, once.
Want it maintained every month after — new products optimized as they're added, rankings watched, small fixes applied as they come up? Shopify Store Management & Monthly Support picks up from here. Store feels slow on top of everything else? Shopify Speed & Performance Optimization pairs naturally with this.

Collections do more work than owners expect
A large share of searches are for a type of product, not one specific item — "linen shirts" rather than one particular shirt in one particular colour. On Shopify, the page meant to answer that search is usually a collection page. A collection that's nothing but a heading and a grid gives a search engine almost nothing to work with. Writing collection content that actually says something, and linking it properly to the products inside it, is usually where a Shopify store has the most SEO upside sitting unused.
The Shopify-specific mechanics
Some of this Shopify handles for you, some it restricts. The sitemap builds itself automatically as you add content, so the work is confirming the right pages exist in it and are indexable. robots.txt can be edited through the theme's robots.txt.liquid template, but only when there's an actual reason to touch it. Every product, collection and page carries its own search title and meta description field, and Shopify's own guidance suggests keeping titles to roughly 60 characters and meta descriptions to roughly 160. We fill those in page by page, written for the person searching — not stuffed with repeated keywords.
What this doesn't promise
A ranking. In Google's own words: "No one can guarantee a #1 ranking on Google." What this project does is remove the reasons your store is currently being overlooked, and give search engines an accurate, complete picture of what you actually sell.

Shopify SEO Services FAQ
This is a one-time project that sets up your Shopify store's SEO properly. The retainer is ongoing monthly work on content, links and technical upkeep. You can do this project first and move to the retainer afterwards if you want ongoing work.
Yes. Collection content is included, because collection pages are often the ones that match how people search for a type of product.
The number of products and collections is agreed in your written scope before work starts, based on the size of your catalog.
Nobody can honestly promise that, and Google warns against anyone who does. This project fixes what's holding your store back and makes each page clear about what it sells.
Yes, and setting it up is included. It's free from Google and shows which searches your store appears for and which pages have indexing problems.
Only where there's a clear reason, and never without a redirect. Changing a URL that already ranks can cost traffic, so it's agreed with you first.
