Do trust badges actually work?
For a store shoppers don't know yet, yes — a small row of badges near the add-to-cart button or in the cart reassures first-time buyers that checkout is safe and returns are easy. The effect is biggest when the badges reflect real policies. A "30-day returns" badge only helps if you actually offer 30-day returns and say so on your policy page.
