Shopify Order & Low-Stock Alerts (Email, Slack, Telegram)
About Shopify Order & Low-Stock Alerts (Email, Slack, Telegram)
Important events in your store shouldn't wait until you log in. This project sets up alerts for the things you care about, such as a very large order, a refund, a failed payment or stock falling below a threshold, and sends them to email, Slack or Telegram.
Who needs this
Owners and small teams who want to react quickly to orders and inventory without watching the admin.
What's included
- Alert rules agreed: which events and what thresholds
- Shopify connection using a limited custom app
- Alerts for new, high-value and flagged orders
- Low-stock and out-of-stock alerts by product or variant
- Refund and cancellation notices
- Delivery to email, Slack or Telegram (your choice, or several)
- Daily digest option to avoid alert fatigue
- Quiet hours so alerts don't wake you up
- Test alerts and a short guide
Signal, not noise
Too many alerts get ignored. We set thresholds carefully and offer a digest so the important ones stand out.
Your account, your data
Scripts run inside your own Google account, and the Shopify connection uses a custom app token that you create and control. We never keep your credentials, and you can revoke access at any time.
What this doesn't promise
Instant delivery in every case. Alerts arrive on the schedule the script runs, typically within minutes. Google Apps Script has daily quotas and run-time limits, and Shopify has API rate limits. We design around them with batching and schedules, and tell you plainly where the limits are.
Related services
The stock sheet that triggers alerts is the inventory and reorder tracker. For custom alerts beyond the standard ones, see Google Apps Script automation, and simple alerts can also be handled inside Shopify with Shopify Flow.
Delivery: 2–5 business days · Format: Automatic alerts for orders and stock to the channels you choose
